As part of its commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, Sinai University participated with a delegation in the closing events of Innovation Week for the Suez Canal and Sinai Region, organized by Suez Canal University under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, and with the participation of several universities and institutions from the region.
Sinai University’s participation came under the auspices of Professor Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University. The events featured lectures and specialized sessions addressing the role of future universities in leading the innovation ecosystem, technology marketing mechanisms, and ways to enhance cooperation between universities and the industrial sector. A distinguished panel discussion focused on understanding investor requirements and criteria for evaluating innovative projects, emphasizing the importance of an integrated system to support innovation, technology transfer, and commercialization from idea to market. This participation confirms the university’s commitment to supporting innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs, and opening new horizons for technology commercialization and transforming research ideas into projects of economic and social value.
