Seminar on “Digital Twin” at Sinai University

Sinai University (Kantara East Branch) hosted today a distinguished scientific event in Hall N131, featuring Professor Dr. Hossam El-Brombaly. In this specialized lecture, we explored the fundamental shift from traditional maintenance to “Predictive Maintenance” through the use of Digital Twin technologies and Artificial Intelligence.

The session highlighted the latest methodologies for developing maintenance solutions and sustaining health comfort within the built environment. It concluded with a Panel Discussion, offering researchers and students the opportunity to engage directly with international expertise, thereby deepening their technical understanding of the subject.

This event aims to open broad applied avenues for future academic research, particularly those leveraging satellite data and contemporary urban environmental analyses to connect technology with quality of life.

The seminar was held under the generous patronage of the University Presidency and the Faculty of Engineering, reaffirming the university’s role in leading digital transformation in the fields of engineering and architecture.
