The Entrepreneur Club

Introduction

Based on the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030, which aims to cultivate an innovative Egyptian character, transform into a knowledge-based society that encourages continuous production, scientific implementation, and supports innovation and entrepreneurship as fundamental pillars of sustainable development. The establishment of the Entrepreneurship Club at the university serves as a platform to promote a culture of innovation and self-employment among university students, faculty members, and the surrounding community.

The primary role of the Entrepreneurship Club is to disseminate a culture of innovation and self-employment through specialized workshops in entrepreneurial skills and programs that support entrepreneurial ideas. This contributes to fostering a spirit of initiative and creativity among university members and transforming their ideas into innovative projects with economic and social impact.

The club also seeks to empower and prepare young people for sustainable entrepreneurship, thereby supporting the knowledge economy and contributing to the realization of Egypt’s Vision 2030. Furthermore, it enhances the role of universities in serving the community and building a generation capable of competing locally, regionally, and internationally.

Making the university’s Entrepreneurship Club an active hub for empowering university students and the surrounding community to transform their creative ideas into innovative projects that contribute to building a sustainable knowledge economy in the Suez Canal and Sinai region, in line with Egypt’s 2030 strategy.

Mission

Qualifying and empowering students, faculty members, teaching assistants, managerial staff, and the surrounding community to adopt the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship through providing specialized training programs, developing skills, and providing a stimulating environment for launching entrepreneurial projects that contribute to serving the community. It also aims to enhance communication with experts in the field and business people, participate in competitions, and make partnerships with various relevant institutions to improve the practical and professional experiences in entrepreneurship.

Objectives:
  • Improving the awareness about the concept of entrepreneurship and the culture of self-employment among university members and the surrounding community.
  • Achieving the goals of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Strategy 2030.
  • Empowering the university students, staff, and the surrounding community to enhance their competitiveness and establish entrepreneurial projects.
  • Organize workshops, conferences, forums, and entrepreneurial competitions both within and outside the university.
  • Align the university graduates with labor market demands in accordance with Egypt’s 2030 strategy.
  • Transform graduation projects into successful economic ventures.
  • Attract and support individuals with entrepreneurial ideas in transforming their ideas into value-added projects.
