Sinai University Hosts Distinguished Academic Program with The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)

Under the patronage of Prof. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and coordinated by Prof. Omnia Elhiny, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation and Foreign Relations, Sinai University, with its two branch campuses in Arish and Kantara, was honored to host a four-day intensive program of lectures and workshops delivered by Prof. Ge Lin Kan, Professor of Urban-Tech and Head of Urban Governance and Design Thrust at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).

His visit proved to be highly fruitful on both scientific and cultural levels, offering valuable learning opportunities for academics and students alike. One of the major highlights was his outstanding lecture titled “How Memory Can Become Medicine: Integrating Neuroscience into Familiar Environments and Design,” which attracted great interest and captivated audiences from the fields of medicine, computer science, and engineering.

The program not only enriched academic knowledge but also encouraged meaningful interdisciplinary dialogue, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.
