A New Beginning for Building Human

As part of the Presidential Initiative “A New Beginning for Building Human,” launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and in collaboration with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and North Sinai Governorate, Sinai University organized an educational seminar titled “Social Media and Freedom – Concepts and Guidelines”.

 

The university was honored to host Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Hawary, Assistant Secretary General for Preaching and Religious Media at the Islamic Research Complex of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Prof. Dr. Misbah Al-Aref, Head of the Central Administration of Al-Azhar in North Sinai.

 

The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, along with deans, vice deans, and university students.

 

The event began with the national anthem, followed by Quran recitation, and a keynote address by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Hawary. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where students engaged in open dialogue and received insightful responses from the distinguished speakers.

 

This initiative served as a platform for constructive dialogue and purposeful awareness, highlighting Al-Azhar’s historic role in shaping societal guidelines and promoting community values.
