EPICO Factory Visit by PhAi Family

Under the generous patronage of her excellency Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdul Hamid Abdo, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, in the context of enhancing practical knowledge and linking theoretical study with practical application, the Scientific Committee of the PhAi family at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Sinai University, Arish Branch, organized a field visit to the EPICO Pharmaceutical Factory on Sunday 1/12/2024. This visit aims to introduce students to manufacturing processes and good practices in the pharmaceutical industry.

A number of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the visit, in addition to faculty members who accompanied the student.

The students received an introductory lecture about the factory, its achievements, the importance of quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry, and the future of the industry at EPICO.

The students were divided into groups, where guides from the factory took them on a comprehensive tour of the various departments of the factory, including: – Manufacturing, Packaging, Quality and Control Departments.

The students had the opportunity to ask questions and inquiries about the processes and practices in the factory, which contributed to enhancing their understanding of the study topics.
