A Lecture at Sinai University on “Scientific Publishing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”

Under the gracious patronage and attendance of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University; Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at the Arish Campus; and Prof. Dr. Emad Hamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at the Kantara Campus; along with the deans and vice-deans of the university’s faculties in Arish and Kantara, and a distinguished group of faculty members and teaching assistants, Sinai University (Arish Campus) organized on November 29, 2025, a distinguished scientific lecture titled “Scientific Publishing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.”

The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aty, an expert in quantum information and President of the Arab Impact Factor. Dr. Abdel-Aty highlighted the rapid developments in scientific publishing amid the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence technologies and their growing role in supporting researchers, improving the quality of scholarly work, and accelerating data analysis and academic writing. He also addressed the ethical challenges and scientific standards necessary to ensure research integrity in light of the ongoing technological revolution.

The lecture was held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the university, with the option to attend via live broadcast, reflecting Sinai University’s commitment to keeping pace with global scientific advancements and enhancing the research and publishing skills of its students and scholars.

This event comes as part of a series of scientific activities organized by the university to promote research excellence and raise academic awareness of the latest international trends in scientific research.
