Clinical Nutrition Conference

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs – Arish Branch, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mostafa Hegazy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the NextGen Family organized a conference on “Clinical Nutrition” on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the main hall of the Faculty of Dentistry – Sinai University, Arish Branch. The event witnessed remarkable participation from pharmacy students and the attendance of several faculty members and university officials.

Dr. Dina Mahmoud, a specialist in clinical nutrition, delivered a lecture discussing the importance of this field in modern healthcare and the pharmacist’s role in designing nutritional plans within hospitals. She also presented several applied scientific topics, including the role of proper nutrition in preventing heart disease, controlling blood sugar in diabetic patients, supporting cancer patients through immune-enhancing diets, strategies for treating obesity, methods of nutritional assessment, and the available career development paths for pharmacy graduates.

Before the conference, a comprehensive promotional campaign was carried out within the Faculty of Pharmacy, where members of the NextGen Family actively promoted the event and explained its objectives to students, contributing to increased awareness and participation.

The conference witnessed strong interaction from students who raised questions about the practical application of clinical nutrition in different healthcare settings, reflecting their awareness and interest in modern healthcare specializations.

The organization of the event by the NextGen Family received praise from guests and attendees for the high quality of preparation, presentation, and coordination. The Student Activities Office and the Public Relations Department also contributed to the success of the event.

At the conclusion of the conference, the NextGen Family extended sincere thanks to Dr. Dina Mahmoud for her valuable scientific contribution and to Dr. Mostafa Hegazy for his continuous support, affirming their commitment to continuing to organize scientific events that enrich students’ knowledge and help prepare competent pharmacists to serve both the healthcare sector and the community.
