The activities kicked off on the first day inside the university campus, where several events were organized within the faculty. This included distributing gifts to students and patients in the clinics, along with raising awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral and dental health. We were also pleased to have Ms. Radwa Rateb join and participate in the first day’s activities.

As part of promoting health awareness among university students, several teams of outstanding students were formed. These teams visited a number of faculties on campus, including the Faculties of Pharmacy, Engineering, and Information Technology. They conducted awareness campaigns on the importance of oral and dental health and distributed toothbrushes and toothpaste to students.

As part of the Faculty of Dentistry’s commitment to community service and raising health awareness, a fully equipped medical convoy was organized. On the second day of the celebration, Monday, 20/4/2025, the convoy began its activities with a visit to Al-Kenana School. The Dean delivered an awareness lecture for children about the importance of oral and dental care, along with practical training on proper toothbrushing techniques in a simple and interactive way. A total of 600 toothbrushes and toothpaste kits were distributed to students and teachers.

The convoy then moved to Al-Zamlout Basic Education School, where awareness activities were carried out for children to help instill healthy habits. The team also attended a special artistic performance presented by the students. In addition, more than 600 toothbrushes and toothpaste kits were distributed to students and teachers.

The convoy then headed to Shohadaa Al-Rawda Village, based on the directives of Dr. Hassan Rateb, Founder & Chairman of Sinai University; Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of the University; and Mr. Ahmed Farag, Secretary-General of the University. The convoy paid special attention to the residents of the village, where medical check-ups were conducted for 40 cases, necessary treatment was provided, and some cases were referred to the faculty’s clinics at the university to complete their treatment. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were also distributed to the village children, bringing them joy and happiness. The convoy also included field visits within the village, including a visit to the home of an injured resident affected by the tragic incident, who is the father of one of the martyrs. This humanitarian gesture reflects the faculty’s strong commitment to its community role and its support for the local community.
