Sinai University hosts the first hackathon in cooperation with the international organization Unleash to support a better health culture

In a unique collaboration between Sinai University and the global organization Unleash, the first hackathon was held at the university’s branch in kantara.
The Faculty of Mass Communication had the honor of organizing the hackathon, which was themed “Towards a Better Health Culture” as one of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Several students from the faculties of mass communication, Physiotherapy, Information Technology, Dentistry, and Pharmacy competed in the hackathon for the first three places, where they presented five projects to support people with special needs, support medical staff with information, provide information to children through games and student activities, chronic diseases, early detection and treatment of diseases, and solutions varied between mobile applications, websites, games, YouTube channels, and medical convoys, in addition to allocating internship doctors and distributing them to all centers, villages, and hamlets of Sinai to prevent early sources of diseases.
The winning ideas were: supporting medical staff, a chronic diseases website, and beaches for people with disabilities, have the potential to make a significant impact.
This Hackathon was the first exclusive collaboration with the international organization Unleash in Egypt. This event was chosen in Sinai, reflecting our commitment to supporting the region and its people through an exclusive and distinctive experience.
