Holy Quran Recitation Competition

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Sinai University organized a Holy Quran memorization competition, reflecting the University’s ongoing commitment to supporting student activities and promoting religious and ethical values.

The competition witnessed remarkable turnout, with 90 male and female students registering, of whom 40 qualified for the final rounds across three levels: Full Quran, Half Quran, and Quarter Quran.

The competitions resulted in 9 students winning first-place positions — three winners per level — in a highly competitive atmosphere that showcased the students’ dedication and commitment to memorizing the Holy Quran.

At the conclusion of the competition, an official honoring ceremony was held in the presence of the University President, the Vice President, and the Deans of the Faculties. Winners received cash prizes, and all participants were recognized in appreciation of their efforts and to encourage their continued pursuit.

This event reaffirms the University’s dedication to nurturing student talents across all fields, and its commitment to instilling religious values and fostering a spirit of positive competition among students.
