Discussion of Applied Research Projects by Internship Pharmacists

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Arish Branch, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Lotfy Diab, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mostafa Hegazy, Vice Dean of the Faculty, the Training and Internship Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy, along with esteemed faculty members and their assistants, the presentation of distinguished applied research projects by internship pharmacists from the first compulsory training cycle was held on Monday, November 10, 2025.

During the event, several topics were discussed, including medicinal plants and their therapeutic uses, chronic diseases and methods of their prevention and treatment, such as autism and fibromyalgia. Presentations also covered drugs withdrawn from the market, the reasons for their withdrawal, and their available alternatives.

The pharmacists expressed their great academic and scientific benefit from engaging in research activities, which encouraged them to pursue academic and research paths after graduation.
